The project consists of the development of two separate buildings in two phases.
DCAM is already the biggest provider of logistics space in Amsterdam, with 144,000 m2 of Grade A facilities under management. A further 160,000 m2 of new space will be constructed for new occupiers, who will receive market leading customer service as standard.
DCAM’s facilities are optimally located in the Port of Amsterdam. This hub facilitates enormous streams of international transport and is the fourth largest port in Europe.
As well as a valuable hub for shipping, Amsterdam is also a popular destination for cruise ships, generating further port related commercial activity. The Port of Amsterdam area encompasses 4,500 hectares and in 2015, it transhipped a total of 96.5 million tonnes of cargo.
Currently the largest sea lock in the world is under construction, which will enable deep sea cargo and container vessels of all sizes to access the port.
